The worst thing for a dog’s curator in the shelter is to see that the dog has despaired and gave up. He becomes indifferent. And the one who happily met you, barking at the cage grating, the one who wagged his tail in happiness that you came, the one who gratefully ate yummy food — does not want ANYTHING. He does not come out to meet you, he sits curled up in the winter enclosure. He has given up.
Barik has been living in the shelter for many, many years. He is smoke grey and has simple appearance, besides this he is big but very kind.
Something bad is going on with him. He has swollen but is soft by feel as a deflated balloon... He stopped eating, at least in our presence....He needs to be urgently examined!
We decided to move him to a temporal foster home! Please help grey, kind and tender giant! Become his friend! Give a helping hand!
Now Barik is living in the temporal foster home. We are looking for financial curators to pay for the temporary holding (6000 rub./month) and the food (3500 rub./month.). We will be thankful for any financial help as there will be also examinations, analyses etc.
